Thanks for the tip on the GREEN bell peppers as opposed to the higher carb yellow or red peppers.
Avoid peanuts just because most are saturated with pesticides due to crop sharing with cotton.

Quit being cruel to animals they typcially endure torture for animal products. Cheese, eggs, and many meats r not healthy, and a proper plant based diet is healthier. Great list, thank you. One thing though, heavy cream has zero carbs. That’s why it’s used so extensively in keto recipes. It’s all I’ve used in my coffee for years now. π

Nice video. Very informative. A little better audio would up your game significantly. I can really hear the room. If you’re shooting on a dsrl grab a 50 dollar lavalier mic. There are even lav mics that go directly into iphones and Androids. Keep up the good work and useful content. Thanks.
Thanks for the tip! I have a Rode mic on my camera so not sure why it is still echoing π
@Health Coach Kait try an experiment where you dismount your mic from the camera (which I’m guessing is 4 or 5 feet away) and mount the mic somewhere just out of the frame just above your head and slightly in front of you. Decreasing the space between mic and mouth will reduce room sound. FYI… Your lighting is very nice and most importantly, you have a very natural vibe in front of the camera. So you’re WAY ahead of the game. But good audio matters too! π

unless you get the sugar free version (heinz makes a really good one) most ketchup now a days contains sugar at best or HFCS at the worst.
I linked two sugar-free brands in the description π I believe HFCS is only commonly used in the US.

It’s extremely high in oxalates which is why I didn’t mention it and don’t recommend including it in your diet, at least not regularly. Other leafy greens are a better option π

lol, some of the only things with true ZERO carbs is water, tea, coffee.
Meat and fish is 0 carbs as well. When you get into plants it is impossible for any to be truly 0 carb, but some come pretty close π

Thank you for the research. Just one small point. There is no such cheese named “Monetary Jack”. There is a very nice and good tasting cheese named “Monterey Jack” and it is widely available in supermarkets. Joel
It seems Monterey is mainly common in the US and not in my country! Which is why I messed up the pronunciation π

I eat a ton of peanuts but it’s not a nut, it’s a legume.
Most store ketchups have about 4 carbs just be careful and look at the labels, the homemade ones have way less, sometimes itβs better to make your own!

EDIT: Ah you mention them later. But yeah, avocados are great. 2grams carbs per 100grams which = 8 calories of carbs and 16grams of fat which = 144 calories from fat. That means an avocado is 96% fat which as a ratio is keto.
